Apple va lancer un MacBook Air avec un écran de 15 pouces

La WWDC, la conférence traditionnelle des développeurs d’Apple, approche. Habituellement, l’entreprise profite de l’événement pour publier des nouvelles notamment sur les systèmes d’exploitation qui équipent ses appareils, mais, selon les rumeurs, l’édition 2023 pourrait également présenter de nouveaux MacBook.

C’est ce qu’indique le site MacRumors, citant l’analyste de Morgan Stanley, Erik Woodring : Quanta Computer, l’un des fournisseurs d’Apple, table sur une augmentation de la production d’ordinateurs portables au cours du deuxième trimestre 2023, ce qui indique que de nouveaux MacBook sont en route. .

L’un des appareils possibles à présenter est le MacBook Air avec un écran de 15 pouces, un appareil qui a déjà été évoqué par le journaliste Mark Gurman. Connu pour ses premières informations sur les versions d’Apple, Gurman a écrit dans sa newsletter en avril que le portable avec une nouvelle taille d’écran serait l’une des annonces de la WWDC, aux côtés de watchOS 10 (système de surveillance Apple Watch), macOS 14 et iOS 17 – plus, éventuellement, un affichage à réalité mixte de l’entreprise.

Le MacBook Air 15 pouces devrait être équipé de la puce M2 d’Apple, et le design devrait suivre la ligne des ordinateurs portables de l’entreprise – mais avec un écran plus grand que les autres appareils. Le dernier MacBook Air avec un écran de 13 pouces a été annoncé lors de la WWDC 2022.
