Tesla a donné une réponse bizarre à un client dont la voiture électrique a pris feu. Lorsqu’il a contacté l’entreprise après l’incident, Bishal Malla rapporte que la recommandation était qu’il emmène la voiture dans un centre de service, chose impossible avec l’état du véhicule après l’incendie.

- Le client a dû contacter Tesla plusieurs fois pour joindre un agent ;
- Lorsqu’il a obtenu un rendez-vous, la recommandation a été décevante.
Un agent avec qui j’ai parlé a eu l’audace de me dire d’apporter ma Tesla brûlée au centre de service recommandé par Tesla.

Selon Malla, l’assurance couvrira l’incident, mais son indignation était précisément de ne pas avoir reçu de réponse adéquate de la part de l’entreprise. A la chaîne de télévision KCRA 3, il a également déclaré qu’il n’achèterait plus de véhicules électriques.
Tout ce dont j’ai besoin, c’est de leur réponse et qu’ils protègent les autres pour qu’ils n’aient pas le même problème.
Je suis consterné qu’une entreprise d’un milliard de dollars ne fasse pas un seul suivi lorsque son produit [foi] détruit comme ça au milieu de la route. C’est ce qui fait le plus mal.
